I bought this for my new boat. I owned another one on my previous sailboat and thought it was great. Always reliable and excellent reception. Used a mast top antenna. Would like the option for a hardwired aux. mic, but I guess the WHAM option will be ok.

Not bad price for the unit but way too many steps just to get it to scan which is usually a one button step in most marine radios.
