Need Help. Electrical Nightmare. How to Wire truck with least amount of wiring possible to run.
I have an 5 speed, 87 Mazda B200 truck. It ran for a while But someone who owned it before me had this thing wired with TONS of extra crap including radio and alarms and cb radio, radar dectector (old kind thats hardwired in) and plenty of other stuff. Just before he sold it to me he basically ripped everything out and I got loose wires dangling everywhere. So recently after driving it for about a month Something shorted somewhere and Blew a master fuse so i replaced that but I still have No juice going to my ignition or anywhere in the cab. Iv been messing around with it for a while and yesterday I just tore out the Dash and I want to know how to basically just put in my own ignigion with something like a simple push button and possibly Only run wires to the Ignition coil, distributor, alternator, and starter. I only want the bare minimum to get the truck to start and run.
get a new wiring harness, the wire and connectors alone will cost you more. There are several websites out there that make them for a living.
