I want to put a CB radio in my car?
I wanna put a CB radio in my car, but I don’t know what it involves, i know I need a radio, antenna, and thats about it. lol Can you listen to the police band with one? How long of an antenna do I need? (I live in Wisconsin, in a pretty flat area, and I have a little sportscar, so I don’t want a 50 foot antenna on the roof…) How hard are they to operate? How do I plug it in/what cables do I need? I know I Need a power cord, but how do I plug it in?
easiest for you – buy an adapter that plugs into a cigarette lighter.
For the police band, either a scanner or ham radio. Sorry not the CB. You can get CB’s with the weather alert stations.
Magnet mount antenna comes with the cable – just plug it in.
You will need to tune the antenna for best performance.
