Can a shortwave radio be used with a wireless transmitter?
Can it be used as the receiver for distanes not reached in wireless systems?
No, if I am understanding your question. A shortwave receiver receives frequencies on the low end of the radio spectrum. In order to generate a shortwave signal, enormous power and giant antennas are needed.
A wireless transmitter (a microphone for example) usually uses the VHF or UHF band. That, and the low power involved, limits their transmitting distance.
